About INTI

INTI Audiovisual is an independent project building free, accurate calculators for photographers, videographers and audiovisual professionals. No fluff, no sign-ups: just the math you actually need on a real shoot, solved in a blink.

Why it exists

Information about audiovisual gear and technique is drowning in generic, rewritten content. We do the opposite: instead of one more article, we build the tool that answers the question instantly — file size, the card you need, depth of field, hyperfocal distance — with the logic on display so you understand it, not just copy it.

How you can trust the numbers

Trust, to us, isn't a photo or a badge. It's that you can check it yourself:

  • Formulas in plain sight. Every calculator shows the exact formula and a worked example. You can verify the result by hand.
  • Models based on real specs. Bitrate rates per codec, card speed classes (V30/V60/V90, CFexpress) and optical formulas (circle of confusion, hyperfocal) come from standards and manufacturer documentation. Each tool cites its sources in its Methodology block.
  • Verified against real cases. Every formula is checked against concrete scenarios before it ships.
  • Computed in your browser. No server processes your inputs. Everything happens on your device.

Privacy

No sign-up, no accounts, no personal data collected. The calculators run 100% in your browser — what you type never leaves your machine. No walls, no emails, no friction.

How we're funded

INTI is and will stay free. Some gear links (cards, filters, drives) are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Those links never affect a calculation's result — the recommendation comes from the tool's logic, not from who pays.

Always improving

We keep expanding the catalogue and refining every formula. If you spot a number that doesn't add up, we review and fix it — accuracy is the whole point of this.
